As I suspected, the cheap brand of body ink (Kustom, from TCP Global at amazon.com) did not match well between the appliance and skin in photos, despite color match between brands. Live and learn!

Husband's Jedi garb is made by me; please offer suggestions (aside from lining the hood of the robe, which I need to do) but be a little kind, as it's only the second thing EVER that I have sewn. The first thing was a pot holder over 25 years ago.

The pose we held for 15 minutes:

Life imitates art imitates life - we could have kept on with that description if only we'd had a couple of mirrors:

More of the pose that never ends:

The artist made us look so much cooler! And slimmer! And she even added the iPod to Patrick's belt as standard Jedi gear!

That's really cool! I love the artwork.

(And trust me... the Jedi outfit is MUCH better than my first attempts at making a Jedi costume.)

Pam :-)

Yes it was, we're framing it. They had some artists lined up to draw characters based on descriptions, but we thought we'd just go in dressed for the part instead.
