Unread post Face paint on an older Twi'lek
Hi,

I'm having so much trouble with painting my face.

I have brought the Kryolan product and number of colours and have found one I liked, all I have tried on my face.

All made me face look like I'm 100 years old. I cannot use products that have Alcohol in the ingredients , which cancels out a few other products.

My first layer isn't that bad, I place moistures on before hand. I use a sponge and find dabbing the second layer.

I'm 51 and feeling it at the moment. Does anyone have the problem I do?

Here are a couple of photos to give you the idea

The first photo is of two different colours and brands

3 layers and the colour it should be

My Bands are in Vinyl and only at the muck up stage not finished so it will look sort of wonky on my Lekku

Thank you for reading

I've come to the conclusion, my skin doesn't like face paint.

So I'm going very very Pale skin colour

I'm in the process of painting my Lekku, I have read up on the threads. A friend gave me a tip when using Artist water based Acrylic paint make it watery as not to crack...the Lekku should suck up the colour so fingers crossed

Do you have a foundation you prefer? You can used pressed powder directly on a base/foundation to build up colour, and to use something you are already happy with.

I find some primers even just make any paint look caked and cracked on my skin so I have switched to an illumination base (Clarins) and for paint a Kryolan TV Stick. I'll still use Alcohol Activated paints on my hands and arms etc, just use this for my face as it's so gentle. I posted in the review post about MAC CHroma cake and TV Sticks individually :)
