Unread post A fabric question
I've started planning my Oola outfit and I'm going to start with a home made bodysuit.
I want to know what is the best green fabric to use not only for the bodysuit but I'm going to use the same fabric for the lekku since I want swinging lekku.

The most absolutely essential thing to remember is that you need a fabric with a 4-way stretch.... or else you won't be able to move! Something with lycra/spandex is very important, because it will allow the fabric to snap back into place after stretching. If you make your bodysuit out of a plain knit fabric, it can stretch... but it'll quickly start getting baggy around the knees, etc.

I hate to say it, but for the amount of trouble it is to sew stretchy fabric, you may be better off buying two matching suits and simply cannibalizing the second suit to get your lekku. Sometimes, time is more valuable than cash.

OK then I will do that then. I was going to start with the lekku first then go on to the netting getting the difficult part first
